Mission Projects Inc. was founded in 1975 in Chiapas, located in southern Mexico where the families of Elwin Norton and Darald Edwards built a clinic and school named Bella Vista. Over time, MPI expanded to projects in Mexico, the tiny tropical country of Belize, the Philippines, and Thailand.
MPI is a supporting organization of the Seventh-day Adventist church, dedicated to spreading the Gospel by way of medical, educational and evangelistic endeavors. We work in complete harmony with local Conferences and Missions, and are a member of Adventist Laymen’s Services and Industries (ASI), and Outpost Centers,Inc (OCI).
MPI is sponsored by lay people and operated by volunteers. This makes it possible for 100% of all funds to go directly to the mission field.
